As an antacid: Adults, chew 2-4 tablets. Children 7-14 years, chew 1 tablet. Take up to 4 times a day or as directed by a doctor. As a laxative: Adults and children 12 years and older, chew 6-8 tablets. Children 6-11 years, chew 3-4 tablets; 2-5 years, chew 1-2 tablets; under 2, consult a doctor. Take preferably before bedtime, followed with a full glass (8 oz) of liquid.

Active Ingredient (per Tablet): Magnesium Hydroxide 311 mg. Inactive Ingredients: Colloidal Silicon Dioxide, Dextrates, Magnesium Stearate, Maltodextrin, Natural Flavor, Starch Sucrose. Sodium Content: 0.92 mg per Tablet.

As an antacid: Do not take more than the maximum recommended daily dosage in a 24 hour period, or use the maximum dosage of this product for more than 2 weeks, or use this product if you have kidney disease, except under the advice and supervision of a doctor. May have laxative effect. As a laxative: Do not take any laxative if abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting or kidney disease are present unless directed by a doctor. If you have noticed a sudden change in bowel habits persisting for over 2 weeks, consult a doctor before using laxative. Laxative products should not be used for a period longer than 1 week, unless directed by a doctor. Rectal bleeding or failure to have a bowel movement after use of a laxative may indicate a serious condition. Discontinue use and consult a doctor.
