For nosebleeds: twist or fold the packing for easy insertion. Insert the packing all the way into the nasal cavity and leave for 30 minutes. For cuts: Apply pressure with fingers to the covered wound for one minute or until bleeding stops. When bleeding stops, remove packing, cover with Band-Aid or cover packing directly with Band-Aid.
