As a dietary supplement Mag-Tab SR is indicated for patients with, or at risk of, magnesium deficiency. Hypomagnesemia and/or magnesium deficiency can result from inadequate nutritional intake or absorption, magnesium-depleting drugs or alcoholism. The first and only 12-hour sustained release magnesium supplement. A unique patented formulation to maximize results and minimize side effects.* Delivers more bioavailable magnesium per dose than other formulations.
As a dietary supplement, one or two caplets twice a day or as directed by a physician. Four Mag-Tab SR caplets will meet the USRDA range for average adult females and males (300-350 mg daily). Where magnesium-depleting drugs are being used, supplementation with higher dosages may be required and should be considered.
