Multi-dose Glutose45 provides a rapid increase in blood sugar concentration. Works fast. Glutose45 contains 40% dextrose (d-glucose), the kind of sugar your body most readily adsorbs. Other kinds of sugar found in candy and commercial food products may take longer to work because it takes time for them to break down in your digestive system. To treat an insulin reaction before unconsciousness occurs: Turn red tip counter clockwise to open. Put dispenser tip to mouth and slowly squeeze in one dose (15 grams of glucose). See dosage measurements on side of tube. Swallow. Turn tip clockwise to close. If no response within 15 minutes, repeat dosage. If no response within 30 minutes, contact physician or healthcare provider.
