Helps prevent sunburn. Higher SPF gives more sunburn protection. Retains SPF after 80 minutes of activity in the water or sweating. Coppertone Sunscreen Lotion SPF 8 provides protection from the sun's damaging UVA/UVB rays. Its moisturizing formula with aloe and vitamin E is non-greasy and non-comedogenic so it won't clog pores. Waterproof, PABA-free, dermatologist tested. Sunscreen products with an SPF below 15 may not provide adequate protection against sunburn and skin damage for some skin types. Many skin care experts recommend regular use of at least an SPF 15 to help reduce the risk of premature aging, wrinkling and skin cancer, especially if you burn easily or spend long periods of time in the sun.
PURPOSE: Sunscreen
Adults and children 6 months of age and older: apply evenly and liberally to all exposed areas before sun exposure. Ensure complete coverage. Reapply as needed or after towel drying, swimming, perspiring or vigorous activity. Children under 6 months of age: ask a doctor. Sun alert: Limiting sun exposure, wearing protective clothing and using sunscreens may reduce the risks of skin aging, skin cancer, and other harmful effects of the sun.
