Daytime (orange caplets): For temporary relief of the following symptoms: nasal congestion, sore throat pain, cough, minor aches and pains, reduction of fever, headache. Nighttime (blue caplets): Provides the same relief as the daytime caplets plus temporarily relieves: runny nose, sneezing.
PURPOSE: Pain Reliever, Fever Reducer, Antihistamine, Nasal Decongestant, Cough Suppressant
Do not use more than directed (see overdose warning). Children under 12 years of age: ask a doctor. Adults and children 12 years of age and over: Daytime: Take 2 orange caplets every 4 hours while symptoms persist, not to exceed 8 daytime caplets in 24 hours, or as directed by your doctor. Nighttime: Take 2 blue caplets, if needed, to be taken no sooner than 4 hours after the last daytime caplets, not to exceed 4 nighttime caplets in 24 hours, or as directed by your doctor.

Alcohol warning: If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day, ask your doctor whether you should take acetaminophen or other pain relievers/fever reducers. Acetaminophen may cause liver damage. Sore throat warning: Severe or persistent sore throat or sore throat accompanied by high fever, headache, nausea, and vomiting may be serious. Ask a doctor right away. Do not use for more than 2 days or give to children under 3 years of age unless directed by a doctor. Do not use: for more than 7 days; if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product; with any other products containing acetaminophen. Ask a doctor before use if you have: glaucoma; heart disease; high blood pressure; diabetes; thyroid disease; trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland; cough that occurs with too much phlegm (mucus); chronic cough that lasts or as occurs with smoking, asthma or emphysema; a breathing problem such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking sedatives or tranquilizers. When using this product: do not use more than directed; when using nighttime product: excitability may occur, especially in children; may cause marked drowsiness; alcohol, sedatives and tranquilizers may increase drowsiness; avoid alcoholic drinks; be careful when driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery. Stop use and ask a doctor if: new symptoms occur; you get nervous, dizzy, or sleepless; redness or swelling is present; fever gets worse or lasts for more than 3 days; pain, cough or nasal congestion gets worse or lasts more than 7 days; cough comes back, or occurs with rash, or headache that lasts. These could be signs of a serious condition. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. Overdose warning: Taking more than the recommended dose can cause serious health problems. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Quick medical attention is critical for adults as well as for children even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms.
