Use Johnson & Johnson Band-Aid’s large, sterile Mirasorb Gauze Sponges to clean cuts, burns and scrapes. Because they contain a low amount of lint and feature thick cushioning, these sponges superbly and comfortably clean wounds. Mirasorb Gauze Sponges are also effective for applying medication or ointment to wound sites, as well as absorbing fluids and blood, pulling them away from the injury.Ideal for use in cleaning and applying medication to minor cuts, scrapes, and burns. Low-linting for cleaner wound sites. The pillow-soft cushioning offers extra comfort when cleaning dirt and contaminants from the injured area. Can also be used as absorbent dressings and offer Quick-Loc technology that instantly absorbs and pulls fluids away from the wound. Sterile. Not made with natural rubber latex.
Clean: Stop bleeding by applying pressure with gauze sponges. Cleanse injured area gently and thoroughly with mild soap and water. Pat dry. Treat: Treat wounds by applying first aid antibiotic. Protect: Cover injured area completely with a gauze pad to help absorb fluids. Wrap rolled gauze to firmly secure gauze pad and help keep the wound clean from contaminants. For better protection, secure with tape or wrap.
