How to use: The ear is an ideal spot to measure temperature since the eardrum shares blood supply with the temperature control center of the brain. To get an accurate reading with this thermometer, follow these steps: 1. Make sure a new and intact probe cover is attached before each measurement. 2. Press 'ON' button and wait for 'READY' symbol. 3. For infants up to 1-year old, pull the ear straight back. For others, pull the ear up and back. 4. While tugging the ear, gently insert the thermometer probe into the ear canal and press and hold the light blue ACTIVATION button until you hear a short beep confirming the end of temperature taking.
